We worked with NHS Wales to amplify their recruitment campaign through our specialist GP sites, GP Jobs and GP Online, encouraging GPs to relocate to Wales and driving candidates to view and apply for jobs with NHS Wales. We created a dedicated careers site within GP Jobs and ran a series of success stories to tell NHS Wales’ story through the eyes of GPs who have relocated to Wales from other parts of the UK and abroad.
Telling NHS Wales’ story
We ran the following success story case studies on GP Jobs and GP Online, which we promoted through GP Online editorial emails, a GP Jobs bespoke careers email, candidate email bulletins and social media marketing:
- Q&A interview with Dr Sam Lonsdale: This first piece presented NHS Wales as a supportive and flexible health service for trainee GPs. In the interview, Dr Sam Lonsdale discussed the incredible support she received throughout her GP training in Wales, allowing her to fit training around her young family.
- Why I chose to train in Wales: Nyasha Mudondo, trainee GP explored why Dr Nyasha Mudundo from Manchester chose to do her medical training in North Wales and the overwhelming support she has received from her peers and tutors.
- Why I moved to Wales from India: Dr Ravi Shetty tells the story of a qualified GP who moved from South India to Wales after completing his postgraduate studies, having heard about the opportunity to tailor his career to his interests and achieve the work/life balance he always wanted.
