We worked with planning consultancy, Turley, to position the company as a ‘wonderful workplace’ and encourage top planning professionals to find out more / apply for the Director / Associate Director job vacancy they were recruiting for. The role was based in Reading so they needed to either attract local talent or people willing to relocate or commute.
We ran a powerful content piece on our specialist Planning Jobs careers section to offer candidates an insight into what the role entails and attract the right talent matched to Turley’s culture.
Telling Turley’s story
In addition to a job posting, we worked with Turley to tell their story and encourage the right people to find out more about working for the company. We highlighted the key benefits of working in Reading, as location and working environment are both priorities amongst many planning professionals.
The piece also communicated Turley’s Freedom to Flourish business strategy, which recognises the need to support life-stage flexibility for employees whilst ensuring business and client needs are met.
As an employee owned business, all Turley’s people have a stake in the business. They believe this drives their culture and competitive advantage. We maximised on this message by embedding a video into the article featuring Turley’s Head of Logistics discussing why employee ownership is important to her.
The article was promoted through the Planning Jobs and Planning Resource careers channels, including a call to action linking to the job posting. It was then amplified though our email and social media channels, including a bespoke careers email to our registered planning jobseekers, featuring Turley’s job listings and the content piece.
