Age UK Salford was recruiting for a Programme Manager and Project Worker to join its strong and diverse team of staff and volunteers who want to make a difference to the lives of older people. We worked with them to create a content piece as part of the Wonderful Workplaces initiative, to showcase why the charity is a great place to work and attract the right people to apply for their roles.

What is it like to work at…?
In addition to a job posting, we worked with Age UK Salford to tell their story and encourage the right people to apply.
Our careers content editor interviewed Dave Haynes, Chief Executive, Age UK Salford, for a Q&A article: What is it like to work at…Age UK Salford? The article highlighted the exciting projects, challenges and opportunities for career development the successful candidates can expect from the role. It also offered some insider insight into the culture and what makes the charity a unique place to work.
The article was hosted on the Wonderful Workplaces in the Third Sector hub page on the Thirdsector.co.uk website, and was also featured on the Third Sector and Third Sector Jobs careers sections. The piece was amplified further through email and social media marketing through our niche channels that target professionals in the third sector.
